Polish Freeskiing Open 2012







The winner of the competition was Swiss Rico Schuler.


Among women triumphed, coming from Estonia, 9 years old Kelly Sildaru.
During two days of The North Face Polish Freeskiing Open 2012 powered by Fiat gathered in Zakopane public had a chance to watch skills of almost 50 riders from all over Europe. After yesterday’s Big Air and Rails qualitications’ as well as the Night Session the level of today’s competition was very high.
During the finals public could see spectacular rotations and tricks. Among men the best was, coming from Switzerland, Rico Schuler who presented stylish double cork 1080 double hand mute grab. Second place took Szczepan Karpiel – Bułecka, who has also defended his title of Polish Champion in Freeskiing.
In rails, podium belonged to Swiss team - Yannic Lerjen, Jonas Hunziker and David Ortlieb, who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Judges have also awarded the riders with some special prizes. Coming from Switzerland, Rico Schuler, grabbed The North Face Best Trick, and Polish Paweł Palichleb for the biggest progress in past year prize.
50 of the competitors from 8 countries, and gathered on the slope public created amazing atmosphere.
